Brain injury is more thoroughly understood by those who deal with it daily and those who, by an unexpected event, live with it daily. Likewise, brain injury rehab can best be explained by those whose lives are dependent upon it.
The success of our book, Brain Injury Survivor's Guide, and this website is greatly dependent upon the contributions made by these wonderful, caring people.

Angela Ronson |
Angela Ronson was a Children's Behavior Specialist at a county mental health center in a small town high in the Sierras when she was unexpected stuck down by AVM. The town was so small it's clinic did not have a doctor. After being transferred for emergency brain surgery, her family was told that if she lived, she would be a vegetable. That was over 5 years ago. Angela is not a vegetable; she is a contributor to this site and hope that she can help others reach their "full potential." |

David Fierce |
David Fierce was in a head-on car collision in 1984 that left him with severe closed head injuries, and in deep coma. When contacted by Larry, David responded, "I would be happy to write something for your website or to support you in any way." David remembers his early brain injury days,"What’s going on? Why am I here? . . . I know what happened. . . but why? How come I can’t?. . . Was it my fault?. . . they say no, but was it? Mo was with me. . . How’s Mo. . . How’s Brenda? Was I driving? I’m so tired. . . can I just go to sleep now?" David developed what he likes to call Fierce Therapy, his own program for his own needs. |
